quality gift and so for this reason, all our gift baskets are
not pre-assembled. They are prepared at the time we receive
your order. This ensures that your gift recipient receives the
freshest most delicious product at all times.
Our office makes every attempt to
accommodate requests for deliveries within certain time frames. However, at times this may not always be possible during peak seasons including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Christmas.

All orders are shipped from our facility in Montreal, Quebec so please keep in mind that the amount of time to deliver to your gift recipient’s location will vary from 1 to 7 business days. Please refer to our Delivery and Shipping Options section for more information regarding transit times.
The Sweet Basket Company has selected the most reliable shipping services for on time delivery of your gift. However, we do not provide any guarantees and will not be held liable for any failure on the part of these companies to provide on time service due to severe weather conditions or unforeseen disasters. Refunds are not available if the delays are beyond our control.
Shipment
Notification: Once your order has been
shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation along with your UPS or Canada Post tracking number via email so you may personally monitor
the progress of your gift order.

can expect your gift to be hand delivered within 24- 48 hours
upon receipt of the order.

All orders with future delivery dates which are shipped via UPS or Canada Post Ground Shipping service will arrive as close as possible to the requested delivery date. Standard deliveries are made between 09h00 am and 19h00 pm Monday through Friday only.
Delivery hours may be extended during peak holiday times.
For gift orders to arrive on a specific date, the shipping selection of UPS Express Overnight must be selected.
If the gift recipient is unavailable to receive the delivery, the driver may release the parcel at the door. It is at the discretion of the UPS or Canada Post driver to release the parcel. If the parcel is not released, an Info Notice card is left for the recipient.
UPS or Canada Post will make three delivery attempts to deliver your gift parcel. If they are unsuccessful after three attempts, the parcel will be returned to our facility.
Please note door delivery may not be available in highly remote communities. UPS and Canada Post will hold the parcel for pickup by the recipient.
N.B: Shipping service to remote areas may take longer

Sweet Basket reserves the right to modify or terminate its free
shipping offer at any time.
It
is important that you provide us with complete and accurate
delivery information including the gift recipient's telephone
number. We cannot guarantee delivery delays due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts by our carriers or weather delays.
Incorrect or missing information could result in delivery
delays or non-delivery.
The
cost to reship or redeliver your gift due to incorrect or incomplete
address information is the sender's responsibility. Please note that you will incur a $11.50 address correction fee if the address or postal code you submitted with your order must be modified to ensure delivery.
We regret
we cannot ship to a P.O. Box or airports.
Shipping delays may occur during various holiday seasons as
well as for multiple orders. We will contact you via email or
phone if we foresee any shipping delays with your order.
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information may result in delivery delays or possible return of gifts to our facility.
Address correction fee of $11.50 will apply to reroute your gift to a correct delivery address for parcels in transit with our courriers.
Please note reshipping or redelivery fees will apply to ship your gift if it is returned to our facility due to an incomplete or incorrect delivery address. If you wish to cancel your gift order once returned to our facility , a cancellation fee of 30% plus shipping fees will apply.
It is the sender's responsabilty to ensure a complete delivery address and daytime telephone number is provided. Company name and department is extremely important for fast and accurate delivery, if applicable.
We regret we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes or locally hand deliver to airports at this time.

that alcoholic beverages are not delivered to anyone who is

that the person receiving a shipment of alcoholic beverages

agree that any alcohol purchased from The Sweet Basket Company
is intended for personal consumption and not for resale. If

use this site. If you intentionally or unintentionally misrepresent
your age in order to provide alcohol to a person under the

Summer Shipping
Shipping requirements for chocolate and perishable items such as fresh fruit are in place during the warm summer months (May to September). Fresh fruit baskets and chocolate gifts & gift baskets are shipped Monday to Friday only. Express shipping is highly recommended to prevent spoilage or melting. Local hand deliveries are not affected . Please refer to our Canadian shipping destinations.
During extreme temperatures, The Sweet Basket Company may reserve its right to substitute highly perishable items with non-perishable items to ensure the safe arrival of gifts. Substitutions are always made of equal or greater value and will compliment the gift design.
Hospital and Hotel Delivery
We proudly offer delivery to hospitals and hotels. Please ensure your gift recipient is checked in when the gift delivery is made. For hospitals, we require the maiden name of the gift recipient (if applicable). In the case of hotels, we require the name under which the reservation is registered.
Please note that many hospitals/hotels have a central receiving
department where packages are delivered prior to delivery to
the patient/guest. Many hospitals/hotels do not allow delivery
personnel to deliver to a specific room due to privacy regulations
or security purposes.
The Sweet Basket will not refund or replace gifts delivered
to hospitals and hotels. Claims for orders lost or misplaced
within hospitals or hotels , failure of the hospital
or hotel staff to deliver the gift to the patients or
guests or gifts arriving after a patient or guest has
been released or checked out will not be honored.
To avoid possible delays or dissappointment, we strongly recommend that your gift be delivered to the recipient's residence or place of work.
